1894 Cycling Medal, Awarded to C. Lecoq

The image on this stunning medal is the work of Frédéric-Charles Victor de Vernon french sculptor and medalist (1858-1912).   The image beautifully portrays three the different types bicycles being raced at the time, a high wheel, safety bike and a three wheeled machine.

This wonderful medal is engraved on the reverse with Society Mixte de air de Dreux and was awarded to E. Lecoq on 10 Juin 1894
