Tour of Texas, 1988 Climbers Jersey with letter

A really nice Climbing Leaders jersey from the 1988 Tour of Texas.  This interesting jersey comes with a letter from Brook Watts of the Tour of Texas donating the jersey to the  Bar Augusto collection in Italy.

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
