Pneus Viator Metal Sign

Unlike paper advertising, metal signs were made to survive the weather when hung outside a store or shop.  Metal signs allowed for eye-catching, colorful imagery that was used to sell all types of products.  Signs, like this beauty, used stamping to create a 3-D effect with the lettering standing out in relief.
