Michel Bechet, Champion du Monde 20th Anniversary Celebration

This is a lovely item is from a commemorative event celebrating Michel Bechet in 1983.

Bechet was part of the 1963 Amateur Time Trial Team at the 1963 Road World Championships that won the Gold Medal.  Sadly his promising cycling career was cut short by a serious crash in September 1963.  The crash left him in a coma for 10 days and ended his cycling career.
