John Stol (NED), Six-Day Champion, Postal Card

John Stol was a star at the beginning of Six-Day racing.  He raced in the very first Berlin Six-Day finishing second with his teammate Marcel Berthet of France.  He finished second again with Berthet in the 1910 Berlin Six-Day followed by first in 1911 & 1912 with partner Walter Rutt of Germany.  He went on the be Champion des Pays-Bas de Vitesse in 1913, 1914 and 1918.

He also took first place at the 1907 New York Six-Day with partner Walter Rutt and first at the Brussels Six-Day in 1914 with Van Hauwaert.
