Moser nicknamed ‘Lo Sceriffo’ or the Sheriff, had an amazing career riding for the Gelati Sanson Campagnolo Team  from 1976 to 1985.  Moser’s career achievements include the 1977 World Championships, three time winner of Paris – Roubaix (back to back victories ’78-’80), winner of the Giro in 1984 and breaking the hour record in the same year. His 273  victories on the road put him behind Eddy Merckx (525) and Rick Van Looy (379), but ahead of Rik Van Steenbergen  (270) and Roger De Vlaeminck  (255).  Moser was also an excellent track rider and rode the Six-Day races in the winter.
