Lovely Original Two Sided Pennant

Molteni was a professional cycling team from 1958 until the end of 1976. They won 663 races, many of them earned by its most famous rider, Eddy Merckx. Other notable Molteni riders included Gianni Motta and Marino Basso, who each contributed 48 and 34 wins respectively.

Molteni was Italian salami manufacturers based in Arcore, near Milan Italy.

The lovely pennant came from the legendary Bar Augusto in Bergamo, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960’s through the 1980’s.
