Willy Teirlinck, Signed 1975 Belgian National Champion Jersey
Willy Teirlinck rode as a professional on the road from 1970 to 1986 winning 96 races. He won the Belgian National Road Championships in 1975 and would have worn this jersey in 1975 or 1976.
Teirlinck rode the Tour de France ten times winning five stages and wearing the yellow jersey for one day in 1973. He was the winner of the Intermediate Sprints Classification at the Tour de France in 1972 Other major victories include two individual stages of the 1978 Vuelta a España, Deutschland Tour, Étoile de Bessèges, Tour de Luxembourg, Tour de l’Oise as well as one-day races Grand Prix Pino Cerami, Grand Prix de Fourmies and the Grand Prix de Denain.
