Thurlow Rogers is an American cyclist who raced as a professional from 1986 – 2000.  Prior to racing as a professional, he competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and other amateur races.

The Vuelta Ciclista de Chiapas was a stage race held late in the season (late November – early December) in the State of Chiapas in southern Mexico.  The race was first held in 1980 and ran for three years before being put on hold.  It was held again from 1995, 1996 and 1997 before sadly being put on hold yet again.  In 2008 the race was re-launched for a third time and was last held in 2011.

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
