Slovakoturist Race Worn Jersey c.1980s

Looking at the design, fabric, and photo that came with the jersey, we believe this jersey was from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Our speculation is this was a race leader jersey from an Eastern Bloc race and the winner brought it to Bar Augusto as a gift. This jersey is perfect to wear at your next vintage retro ride. Better yet, research the jerseys origin complete its story!

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
