This is a great looking jersey with bright colors and beautiful chain stitching and a cloth race number.
Radomír Šimunek, from Czechoslovakia, was a two-time amateur Cyclo-cross World Champion during the communist era when he could not race as a professional. In 1990 he was finally allowed to race as a professional and won the 1991 Cyclo-cross World Championships.
This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy. Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
