Miloš Hrazdía had a successful racing career from 1967 to 1983.   He raced in the Tour de l’Avenir three times in 1971, 1976 and 1978. He won a stage each of those years and took second overall at the Tour de l’Avenir in 1976.  Hrazdia was the first cyclist to win the Tour de Slovaquie three times (1967, 1968 & 1973).  In 1982 he bacame the only Czech cyclist to win three natioanl titles in one year.

The Tour de l’Avenir was founded in 1961 to attract teams from nations that had no professional riders to enter the Tour de France. Until 1967 the race was held earlier in the day, but on the same course at the Tour de France.  In 1968 the race was moved to September and since 2007 has been for riders 23 and younger.

This jersey includes the original label from Bar Augusto.

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
