Laurent Brochard, 2001 Jean Delatour Team Jersey

$220.00

In 1997, Laurent Brochard won both the 1997 Road World Championships and Stage 9 of the Tour de France.

Brochard was a runner and started cycling competitively at 19. He started his career with the Castorama Team and joined the Festina Cycling Team in 1995. His role in Festina was super-domestique, supporting stars such as Richard Virenque, but he was able to ride competitively when given the chance. He raced for the Jean-Delatour team in the 2001 and 2002 seasons.  Borchard had a long and successful career racing as a professional from 1992 to 2008.

As the 1997 Road World Champion, Borchard wore a 2001 season jersey with rainbow stripes on the sleeves and collar.
