Danish rider Jesper Worre rode as a professional from 1982-1992 and competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics. This jersey is a beauty, chain stitching, great condition, bright colors.
Settimana Bergamasca was an amateur race in 1982. Worre won stage 4 and placed second overall in the final standings.
This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy. Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
