This wonderful postal cover from 1972 not only features artwork of cycling legend Jacques Anquetil, but it is also signed by “Monsieur Chrono” himself.  This large-format collectible postal cover,  created for the 1972 World Championships, was produced in a limited edition of 5,000.  This page is number 1656 of the series.

Jacques Anquetil was the first rider to win the Tour de France five times and is still one of only four riders to complete the stunning record. Anquetil won the Tour de France in 1957, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964. In addition, he is one of only six cyclists to have won all three Grand Tours,
