A nice image of the peloton from the 1969 Tour de France. Number 36, Aurelio Gonzalez, is in the lead, followed by number 53, Guido Reybrouck of the Faema Team.
Reybrouck rode as a professional from 1965 to 1974. During his long and successful career, he won 6 stages of the Tour de France, 3 at the Giro d’Italia, and 4 at the Vuelta a Espana. At the 1970 Vuelta, he won both the Points and Combination classifications. He was the Belgian National Road Race Champion in 1966 and won Amstel Gold in 1969.
