Freddy Maertens, World Champion

Maertens is widely considered one of the top riders of all time. Included among his many career victories are the World Championship in 1976 & 1981, 36 Grand Tour stages, three green jerseys at the Tour de France, and overall winner of the 1977 Vuelta a España.
