The Eclipse Machine Company published this whimsical and fantastic series of advertising postal cards for a Coaster Brake in 1911. Each card features Eclipse employees or known cyclists of the day larger than life with New York landmarks.
The card features Frank L Kramer, Champion Bicyclist of the World at Fourth Avenue and Cooper Square, New York. Kramer was an American Gold Medal Cyclist at the 1912 World Track Championships. He won 16 consecutive US National Championships from 1901 to 1916. He was inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame in 1988.
