This vibrant poster was produced for the 2007 Belgian National Road Race Championships for the Elite men with contract, held in Ronse on Sunday, 1 July 2007. The design reduces the rider to a few sweeping brushstrokes, a modern, almost abstract silhouette set against a blue field, with three flashes of black, yellow, and red around the torso to echo the Belgian flag. Across the bottom, the text appears in Dutch, French, and German, reflecting the trilingual character of the national championship, while a column of sponsor logos anchors the right side of the layout.

The race itself was a classic Ardennes-style battle on the hilly roads around Ronse. After 246 kilometers, Stijn Devolder of the Discovery Channel team attacked late and rode solo to the finish, claiming his first Belgian national road title ahead of Tom Boonen and Philippe Gilbert. This was Devolder’s first Belgian road race title; he would later win the National Road Championship again in 2010 and 2013.
