Antaeus “Anteo” Carapezzi raced on both the road and track from 1902 to 1913. His biggest victory was in 1906 when he won the first edition of Milan-Modena. After he retired from racing he was the manager of the Sempione Velodrome and the subsequent Maspes-Vigorelli Velodrome.  In addition to cycling, he was active in football and was the sports manager of Milan.
