This jersey has the “look”  –  fabulous chain stitching on front, excellent condition, beautiful bright color.

Swedish rider Alf Segersäll rode as a professional from 1978 to 1986.  Before turning professional he competed in the individual road race at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

The Ruota d’Oro was an Italian professional one day race which was part of the UCI Europe Tour from 1978 until 1990. Alf Segersäll won the 1982 Routa d’Oro with Giuseppe Montalla taking second and Luciano Rabottini third.

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.
