A beautiful jersey with flocked lettering on the front and sleeves.

Adri van der Poel had a long and successful professional cycling career from 1981 to 2000. His biggest wins include six classics,  two stages of the Tour de France, the World Cyclo-Cross Championships in 1996 and was a six time National Cyclo-Cross Champion.  He also won the silver medal in the World Road Championships in 1983 and five second-place finishes at the World Cyclo-Cross Championships.

This jersey was purchased directly from the Augusto Gotti family and was part of the collection in the legendary Bar Augusto in Villa d’Alme, Italy.  Bar Augusto was a key host to professional and amateur cycling teams from the 1960s through the 1980s.

The jersey comes with a photo and the original Adri van der Poel name label from Bar Augusto.
