Description
The Boucles de la Mayenne is an annual road cycling stage race held in the Mayenne department of northwestern France. Established in 1975, the race has evolved from an amateur event to a prominent fixture in the UCI ProSeries calendar. The 2024 edition, held from May 23 to 26, featured a prologue and three stages, covering a total distance of 551 kilometers.
The 2024 race saw Italian rider Alberto Bettiol of EF Education–EasyPost clinch the overall victory, with French riders Benoît Cosnefroy (Decathlon–AG2R La Mondiale) and Axel Zingle (Cofidis) rounding out the podium. Emilien Jeannière of Team TotalEnergies secured the points classification, while Alex Martín of Polti–Kometa was the best climber. Young British talent Samuel Watson (Groupama–FDJ) won the youth classification.
The race attracts a mix of UCI WorldTeams, ProTeams, and Continental teams, offering a competitive platform for emerging talents and seasoned professionals alike.
