2003 Road World Championships – Hamilton, Canada – Collectible Pin

The 2003 Road World Championships were held in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, from October 7-12th.

In the Men’s Road Race, Igor Astarloa took Gold, with Alejandro Valverde & Peter van Petegem finishing second and third. David Millar won the Men’s Time Trial but was later stripped of the title when he tested positive for EPO. Michael Rogers was declared the Gold Medal winner with Uwe Peschel and Michael Rich taking Silver and Bronze.

The Women’s Road Race was won by Susanne Ljungskog of Sweden and the Time Trial by Joane Somarriba of Spain.
