1998 Road World Championships -Valkenburg – Collectible Pin

The 1998 Road World Championships were held in Valkenburg – Maastrict, Netherlands, from October 4-11th.

In the Men’s Road Race, Oskar Camenzind took first, with Peter van Petegem  & Michele Bartoli finishing second and third. In the Time Trial, Abraham Olano won the Gold Medal, with Melchior Mauri and Serhiy Honchar taking Silver and Bronze.

The Women’s Road Race was won by Diana Ziliute of Lithuania and the Time Trial by Leontien Zijlaard-van-Moorsel of the Netherlands.
