1972 Road World Championships Medal – Delegate

A beautiful piece in excellent condition from the 1972 Road Worlds held in France.  Italian Marino Basso was the winner of the men’s race and Genevieve Gambillon the women’s. This medal was worn by a small selection cycling federation delegates, allowing special race and event access.
