1898 Rivet Medal awarded to Paul Burte, Vitesse Champion

The front of this medal is wonderfully hand engraved for Paul Burte, Vitesse Champion.  The winged goddess of victory can be seen waiting to great the triumphant racers.

The French Goddess of Liberty, Marianne, is beautifully portrayed on this medal by the Rivet foundry.
