1984 Tour de France Postal Cover (Set of 23)

This is an amazing set of postal covers produced for the 1984 Tour de France.  Each cover features a different rider with beautiful artwork by H. Simoni.  Each cover also has a wonderful cancellation honoring Tour champion Louison Bobet and noting each finishing city. Bobet was the first rider to win the Tour is three consecutive years in 1953, 1954 & 1955.

This postal cover set was created in a limited edition of 500.  Each envelope is marked with an edition number on the reverse.

Set contains covers for Stages 1 – 23.

These would look great framed or be a nice addition to your collection.
