The Horton Collection began as a thought, just a thought of one of the Horton girls. The
eldest sister, Julie, always thought of owning a mail order company. It just so happened that she had three very-hard-to-shop-for
sisters, but who all enjoyed fine bath and body products from the various boutiques. Of course none of these boutiques
were in Julie's general vicinity at the time. So Julie (me) decided to purchase unscented bath product and add various
ingredients and make them my creations. This lasted a year before I decided to make all of my own bath and body products.
I began with a webstore and moved up to a brick and motar shop in downtown Fairfield. September 11, 2001 was hard on a lot
of people and businesses, and several of my vendors were located in the New York area, soon after I closed shop. But
now I have returned to the internet with the assistance of my sister, Jacqueline.

Our Business Philosophy
The objective for my business, is to provide high quality products. My
soaps are handcrafted using vegetable oils, herbs, spices and other natural additives. I scent my bath products
with high quality essential oils and high quality fragrance oils. My bath and body product is made fresh for you in
small batches. So it may take up to two weeks for you to receive your order depending on what it is. The handmilled
soaps are made by the batch, and ahead of time. The glycerin soap base that I use is a melt and pour base. This
product is also made with a vegetable base. My other objective is
to provide my customers with reliable service. I assure you that once I receive a message from you, I will return
with a response as soon as possible. I truly wish for the satisfation of each customer and explain in "our
policies" my return policy. I will never trade or sell your information. You are my customers
and I will protect your privacy. I hope you will enjoy visiting
the web site and using my products as much as I enjoyed providing them for you.
Bath and Body Mission Statement
Bathe to Relax.....
Bathing is a time unto ourselves to relax,
prepare for the day a head or to unwind from busy schedules. The art of
bathing has carried great significance in foreign cultures for thousands of years, and has just recently begun to be explored
in our modern world. Bathing is so much more than just a task or a chore. It should be an important part of your day, when
you set time aside for yourself to pamper, relax, bond, and yes, heal. Bathing is a time for men and women to rejuvenate
energies, to pamper their over worked and often neglected skin, to soothe tense muscles, calm wracked nerves and just...
take time for you.... The staff of the horton Collection is here to assist
you in your endeavor to explore the art of bathing. It is our mission to provide our customers with bath products made from
all natural ingredients. Pure essential and carrier oils, and quality herbs. For customers who enjoy man-made fragrances
(such as rain, cucumber, etc.) we use the finest brands of fragrance oils. Our products are labled accordingly. All
of our products from the soaps and potpourri, to the bath powder and the bath crystals are handmade. We do not use any
animal by-products. All of our soaps are vegetable based and are cured the maximum time allowed. The Horton Collection
offers only quality bed, bath and home accessories to enhance and make your home more comfortable for your enjoyment.

My Sister
Jacqueline Horton: Jacqueline
is the brains and clear thinker of the family. She is the one who reminds me most of my father. She is level headed
and very thorough. Her hobby of photography has led her to building a business "Horton Photo". She has found
that she enjoys black and white pictures almost more than she enjoys the color. She enjoys adding her photos to card
stock, napkin holders, coasters and other items. You may notice that she truly loves cats.....
Sadly, we lost our sister Jacqueline at the young age of 43, to Breast Cancer. This tragedy occurred
June 22, 2008. She will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. She believed in trudging forward, and putting
your best foot forward and did not believe in giving up. She loved the arts and she was an avid spa goer. She
helped me tremendously with The Horton Collection. Jacqueline WAS The Horton Collection, and because of her support,
her strength and her faith... I too will trudge forward.
Much Love....
