To hand mill soap is a simple process in which we grate, melt, and remold a basic cold process soap to create a harder, longer-lasting bar.  (refer: Country Living; Hearst Books)
The following milled soaps are created using various vegetable oils, sodium hydroxide, additives and mostly essential oils.  There are a few of my milled soaps which are made using fragrance oils.  Initially I use the cold process method for making my soaps.  The soap drys for a couple of weeks before I mill it into the soap bars you see here.  The milled soaps sit (cure) for a total period of eight weeks, ensuring the soap is ready for use upon your skin.
