A fine example of Rene Pellos' ability to tell an entire story in a single drawing. In this piece, the menacing powers that be are shown overtaking the happy-go-lucky peloton and grinding them up for their own gain. At the front of the peloton sits a victorious Eddy Merckx, leading the other great riders of the era. While the names have changed, some would say not much has changed in the nearly 40 years since Pellos drew this piece!
